Siddharth The Prisoner Hindi Movie [2009]
Director gets on with the business of storytelling. Again an ambiguous, teasing exercise that sees you following our protagonist on his silent jaunts in the streets of Mumbai, as he tries to rebuild his life, after a stint in prison. He re-engages with the outside world, hoping that the new book will restore his reputation and reconcile him with his estranged wife Maya. The direction is below the mark, while the writing is bad. Ditto for the editing.

Gulaal Hindi Movie [2009]
After making film like No Smoking Anurag Kashyap releasing in consecutive months. While ‘Dev D’ arrives on 7th February, ‘Gulaal’, the project closest to Anurag Kashyap’s heart, is eying a 13th March release.
Apparently, ‘Gulal’ took shape in 2001, when Anurag Kashyap was listening to songs from Pyaasa and ‘Paanch’ was struggling with censors. Inspired by a song from Pyaasa, ‘Yeh duniya agar mil bhi jaaye to kya hai’, the film is a dedication to Sahir Ludhianwi, the lyricist of the song and all other poets who had a vision of India.Mahie Gill Dancing for the mujra track “Ranaji” in “Gulaal” too.

Not many are aware that original plan for the film’s release was about a year back. The film got pushed for a while and though the makers did the smart thing by releasing the promos only now when the plans were confirmed for release. Also, this movie produced by Bajaj brothers (Shyam and Narendra).
‘Agre ka ghagra’ is an item song and it seems thay tries to recreate another ‘Kajra re’. The song falls flat despite Mauli Dave’s impressive vocals and ample support by other singer.

Manohar, an upwardly mobile middle class Indian moves into a new apartment -- 13B on the 13th floor with his family. From the first day in their new home, the women are hooked on to a new TV show ‘Sab Khairiyat’ (All’s Well). The show is about a family eerily similar to theirs who have also just moved into a new house. As the TV show unfolds, all the incidents that happen in the show start happening to Manohar and his family. Initially, a number of happy events take place and a lot of good things happen, both in the show and with Manohar’s family. Then things take a turn for the worse and shocking incidents start happening in the TV show
