Islamabad, Two Indian films, Actress Nandita Das’s directorial debut Firaaq has already gained a lot of critical acclaim, audience appreciation and accolades on the festival circuit. Firaaq has traveled to film festivals in USA, Toronto, Pusan, London, Greece, Singapore, Dubai and then in India it was shown at the Kolkata Film Festival and the International Film Festival of Kerala too. Also it already got 5 foreign film awards in 2008 for Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Editor, Everyday Life Transcendence or Reconciliation Award and also one nomination for Golden Alexander.

Maan GAye Mughall-E-Azam is a comedy about how a small town Drama Company gets involved in a mission to save the country Circa 1993. The country was burning due to the Babri structure demolition and communal riots. A small town like St.Louise near Goa, Where Police, CBI and RAW officers were put on high alert due to illegal activities like bomb making materials and all, landing at the coastal area!! A Theatre group of self indulged dreamy actors who are always left with no choice but to perform the same age old period play ‘Mugall-E-Azam’ every time also placed in that area. One day, they come to know that, an underworld don is planning a severe bomb blast in the country. It’s a story, which saves the entire Nation from the Big Bomb blasts in a hilarious slapstick climax.
